MEMORANDUM

Date: March 20, 2008

As you are aware, accreditation is very important to any educational institution. For that reason, on behalf of the Self Study Steering Committee, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone here at the College for helping make our on-site reaccreditation visit by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) and The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (HLC/NCA) so successful.

The members of the CPME and HLC/NCA were very impressed with OCPM, as was noted in their exit interview on Wednesday, following their two day visit. We await the final report from the accrediting agencies, which could take several months.

Along with the warm welcome the team members received, they also noted the professionalism in all departments and areas of the college, as well as the support and pride that the college community showed in our institution. Again, our appreciation goes to all of the students, faculty and staff at OCPM.
