CIRCULATION PROCEDURES
What Circulates
Books in the general collection, reserve books, class lecture tapes, and journal reprints may circulate.
Reference books, current journals and bound journals do not circulate.
All circulating materials must be charged for out-of-library use at the Circulation Desk.
Students, faculty and staff may borrow any circulating material.
Loan Period
The loan period for books in the general collection is two weeks.
Books may be renewed once for an additional two-week period.
This can be done in person or by phone.
Reserve books are overnight only (signed out 4:30 p.m., due 9:00 a.m.)
These books, if checked out on Friday, are due the following Monday.
Returning Materials
Books should be returned via the book drops at the Circulation Desk or outside the main doors of the Library.
Overdue books, reserve books and tapes must be returned directly to a staff member.
Please do not use the book drop for these items.
Fines
Overdue book fines from the general collection are $.25/school day.
Fines for overnight reserve books and tapes are $.25/hour.
